The peace conferences

The multiplication of the peace conferences marks the development of the potential conflicts (approach between the Occident and the countries of the former U.R.S.S.), but over all the conference on the Middle East between Arabians and Israelites, in which Nostradamus sees the excuse for a generalised confrontation).

VIII, 2bis

Lot will come and talk of peace,
Between Monarchs and wealthy landlords;
But it wont awake so close,
That they don't become more than other obedient.

Some leaders of great potencies will talk about peace (U.S.A. - Russia), but the peace will not be granted to them, because they will not obey more than the others to the wisdom. The input in convulsion of the Europe provoked by the collapse of the enormous Soviet Empire and expressed by wars between the old provinces of the Empire, as well as between the provinces of Yugoslavia.

XII, 56

King against King and the Duke [Duc] against Prince,
Hate between them, awful dissension:
Rave and fury will be all the province,
France big war and terrible change.

A governor will rise himself against another governor, a general (duc, in Latin) against a leader, and will feed between them horrible dissensions and hate. The anger will rise in all the regions and this will lead to a great war in France and a terrible change.
This description describes perfectly what is going on in Europe, in the   provinces of Yugoslavia, as well as between the different ethnic of the former Soviet empire.

VIII, 4bis

Many will want to parley,
The big men that make them war:
No one will want to listen them,
Ai! If God don't send the peace to Earth.

Many people will want to speak about peace with the powerful ones that are making them war, but they will not be heard; Ai, if God does not send the peace on the Earth.
The Europe of the Fifteen is incapable to end the conflict between the small potencies that are the Bosnia or the Croatia and the powerful Serbia.

I, 91

The gods will make it appear to mankind
that they are the authors of a great war.
Before the sky was seen to bee free of swords and lances:
the greatest damage will be inflicted on the left.

The Gods will responsible the men, authors of a great conflict, before a comet will be seen in the calm sky (<< sword >> and << lance >> were words used in XVI century to assign comets), but the left forces will be the most hit. The court of Nuremberg that judged the Nazi criminals for <<crime against the humanity >> was the first reaction against the responsible for the war. Today it is arisen question to process in an international court the responsible ones for the ethnic debugging made by the Serbian. This square, as many others, enclose a lapse of relatively important time. With effect, the first verse leaves to assume that a world-wide order <<war anti-promoters>> will put term to the conflicts in all the regions of the world. It would be a precursory sign of the announced universal peace for about 2025.

IX, 52

Peace is nigh on one side, and war,
Never was the pursuit of it so great:
To bemoan men, women innocent blood on the land,
And this will be throughout all France.

Peace and war are come closer and the seek of both never was so big. It will have to be lamented the men and the women, the innocents, everywhere in France.
Since some years now, the peace conferences had been multiplied. Ones on the Next East, others on the former Yugoslavia. They had all as reference the city of Geneva.
